Michael W. Ford is a commercial trial lawyer whose practice focuses on resolving complex business disputes through strategic advocacy, trial, and appeal. He represents businesses, developers, contractors, property owners, professionals, and individuals in litigation involving commercial transactions, construction projects, real estate, zoning, closely held businesses, and employment matters throughout Massachusetts. For more than two decades, Attorney Ford has served as lead counsel in high-stakes litigation before the Massachusetts Superior Court, Land Court, District Court, Probate and Family Court, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and state administrative agencies. His experience includes jury trials, bench trials, emergency injunction proceedings, evidentiary hearings, administrative hearings, and appeals. Before joining McDermott Quilty Miller & Hanley LLP as Of Counsel, Attorney Ford founded Ford Law P.C., where he built a reputation for handling sophisticated commercial litigation and trial work throughout the Commonwealth. Attorney Ford earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Boston College and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. Following graduation, Attorney Ford served as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court for court year 1999-2000.
